Dined at a lot of great restaurants on this trek and was in the moment with each of them except Public House..
Looking for a lunch location on property n off the clanking roar of Venetian floor and came upon a few restaurants.. Public House was open (when most didn't open until 5) and in we went!
The decor was inviting with a long classy bar front and center leading the way. Grabbed a table towards the back .. Aahh.
The menu had some pretty unique offerings.. From salads to Caviar to lamb ++. I order charred octopus (it was ok, but wouldn't order again) and popped a few stolen scrumptious Brussels sprouts from my table mates.
Our server was a soup nazi.. Cranky, slow and definitely not happy to be there. My table mates were able to have a side salad with their meal.. However It was strictly forbidden for me to order a side salad period - "NO SALAD FOR YOU" (nor explanation, exception, nada).. That set the tone for the remainder of our experience .. Sad given the place was pretty empty with exception of a handful bellied up to the bar in the other room.
What I thought was fantastic.. And this may be a first - were the restrooms.... Pretty clever and proved to be more memorable then the staff and meal.
Vegas is a food Mecca and there are way too many other joints to partake in vs what we experienced at Public House. (Unless you're just looking for a place to take a memorable leak )
