| - I hate to slam a company, but this needs to be said so others don't have the same terrible experience. In the August of 2016, I made a service request to Old Republic home warranty who assigned the job to Gilbert Air. They came out and determined that we needed two new compressors, and they didn't have the parts. Twelve days later they came out and "fixed" it, only to have one of the compressors fail several hours later. They then came out the next day, worked a couple of hours to no avail, and said that they would be back in a few days. Finally the work was "completed" and the tenant said the drip overflow began immediately leaking brown fluid onto the ceiling beneath the unit in the attic. Needless to say, I lost the tenant over this issue. My share of the repair costs was nearly $1000 for non-covered parts and the entire process took about a month, in southern Arizona in the summer! Since I paid over the phone, I didn't get a receipt immediately but was told that they would mail it, which they didn't. I called back a few weeks later and requested a receipt again, and was told it would be sent to me. It wasn't. I called again in January when I remembered that I STILL hadn't received the receipt. Again they said they would send it. AGAIN they didn't. When summer rolled around again, the unit promptly failed as soon as it got hot again, or never worked as the unit was unoccupied after this and failed when it was tried again. To this day nearly a year later, I still don't have any record of their work besides the charges on my credit card. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
