| - BEWARE of HERPES!! Yesterday, as I was laying on the table waiting, she walked in to wax my bikini WITH TWO OPEN SORES ON HER MOUTH!!! As I panicked, she decided I was there too soon & should wait 2 more weeks, which was a relief to me because I couldnt get out fast enough. She said come back because she already redeemed my groupon...NEVER!! Lucky for them, 0 stars is not an option!! UPDATE: She just left a screaming VM saying that this is slanderous and that Im just an unhappy client, who is not a medical Dr. First of all, you dont know what degrees I hold, secondly, I wasNt unhappy until I saw the open sores inches away from my half naked body, third & most importantly maybe they weren't HERPES, but they sure were painful looking red & open sores that clearly had greasy ointment applied to them (not lip gloss!) but any UNCOVERED OPEN SORE should be frowned upon in this field IMO. This was my experience yesterday & it is the truth & I will not be bullied into taking down a review just because it happens to be the first negative one for this place! Stacey, dont hide behind "flags" & screaming voicemails, respond here!
UPDATE to her comment below...She isnt telling the truth because she never refused me, just advised I wait longer, which I 1/2expected anyway. She offered to wax what she could, but I said "no thanks". Also, I explained to her why I was there between REAL SALON appts ($19 groupon was perfect for the job). I listened to her, told her it wasnt my 1st time but she continued to speak to me like Im a child. I understood & agreed with what she said, just was upset she touched me at all. The only thing that makes me an "unhappy client" is the fact that she is lying and not addressing what's really important here, and her lateset friendly review from a person in CA (LOL) doesn't speak on...WHAT WERE THE OPEN SORES, if not COLD SORES (which is bottom line HERPES)??? What were they, why were they uncovered, and why should I feel comfortable around them with all of these stories of waxing salons passing herpes to their clients lately??? The proper response would've been an apology and explanation, not litgious talk and personal attacks. BTW, her vm was 59sec of anger/threats/personal attacks/lies, real professional! Check her FB pics, there is clearly something recurring in that area! I was going to let this go, but she has pushed me and Im upset because I was the one put in a vulnerable position and am not completely calm from the fear. My only regret is not taking her pic when I had the chance! ew
