Canoe was a very pleasant experience when I was there. The waiter at our table was very friendly and nice and it felt that he had been there in that role for some time and took pride in his job. The sommelier made very good recommendations especially since he knew we wanted to try some good local wines and I was pleasantly surprised. The views are quite nice but we were not seated by the window and the restaurant was quite crowded and slightly noisy. But for me it didn't take away from the pleasure of fine dining. The food was well prepared but did not stand out for the price range. But overall it was a great experience for Toronto dining.
