| - There's a reason this company has been involved in a class action lawsuit. Their business practices are atrocious and customer service even worse! Used to be a member, but cancelled my membership. A year later my husband scheduled an appt for me to go with him for a massage, he was told I had 3 massages left. They waited until after my massage to inform me they had expired, had to transfer one of his to me, which they did reluctantly.
Husband gave me a gift card they tried to charge me $95 for the massage. Said it was because I had been there only 2 months before and the gift card was for introductory session only. This was not what we were told when scheduling the appt, or when he bought the card, they were able to see on their computer I had been there before but neglected to tell us at time of scheduling. There is nothing written on the card stating the gift card is for introductory use only, NOTHING! No stipulations on the back of the card AT ALL! The girl behind the desk was holding the card up giving us some BS explanation at which time he took the card back from her. All 4 GIRLS at the desk told us we had to leave, when I called to speak with the manager I was given to one of these YOUNG GIRLS who stated my husband had grabbed the girls hand. She was NOT touched!!!
Husband asked to be scheduled for a deep tissue massage, he had the WORST massage ever! She was 15 minutes late taking him back, with NO explanation or apology. He wanted deeper pressure, to which when addressed she did not deepen her touch. When she touched one of many knots in his back she backed off like she was afraid to touch the knots. He likes deep tissue to break up those knots!
We will be cancelling his membership.
When I came out from my massage they actually tried to sell me another membership! In fact that's all they seemed to be interested in is money! I informed them the last time I was there that I was not interested and the reasons why. They DON'T CARE! Hire a grown ass adult to run the business not a bunch of GIRLS.
We were also told each location has different rules, I guess corporate needs to come in & deal with this situation. The one we belonged to in NJ was always a VERY pleasant experience!
My background is in running multi million dollar small businesses, this is not how a business stays in business or becomes ultimately successful.
