  • In my opinion, Polished has gotten too big for their own good. They are certainly one of the "Top Dogs" in town because they offer such a unique experience. To begin, their salon is huge which accommodates 3 times the amount of clients of any salon I've ever visited. They have an equally huge selection of gel colors, styles, designs and all the glitter and bling you can get your hands on (or on your hands, I should say). I love that they are always ready to take on the most unique and out-of-this-world designs, but for a simpleton like myself, I simply cannot justify the high prices and snobby atmosphere. I have personally never received bad service, it's more of an energy you feel when you are there, like you should be thankful just to get in. It's not so much the aestheticians as the receptionists and the management. Like I said, the service has never been bad, but their appointment system makes it difficult to get in at any given time and it's not really worth it. I would recommend them to someone who wants the experience of a luxury salon and who might be a little high maintenance with their nails, but for anyone else, you can get the same service at any other "walk-in" salon without the hassle.
