This is a man-made beach in Brampton that is pretty heavily used in the summer. Very child-friendly with a big slide and deeper waters cordoned off. You have to pass a swim test to go in the deeper water which is also a good safety feature. There are little tiny fish in the shallower parts but they don't do anything. You can buy typical beach foods (hotdogs, fries, ice cream, etc) at the snack bar and there is also the option to rent canoes and kayaks to go further out into the lake. For the canoes you have to do a tipping test to make sure you can rescue yourself if you flip. They have one and two person options. The prices are reasonable for both the entrance and the kayak and canoe rentals. It's a pretty enjoyable little gem in Brampton, which is why I'm not surprised that it's always very populated. I've never had trouble finding a spot for my towel though!
