Came in post lunch rush at 2:30pm and made it just in time for their lunch special. The value is definitely worth it! It ranges from roasted duck, fried shrimp, pork, and veggies that you can pick from. It comes with an egg roll and another fried app, looking like a samosa. It also comes with a free drink all for $10!
That being said I probably won't be returning for 2 reasons. 1) food 2) service
The food I ordered was the salt n pepper fried shrimp lunch special and a salt n pepper fried pork a la carte. The shrimp was good 4/5 nothing spectacular but could order again. The fried pork was terrible. The flavor was there, however 3/4 of the pieces was just fried fat. Barley any meat in any of the pieces 1/5. The egg roll wasn't great 1/5. Samosa was pretty good 4/5. There was also a corn soup and I was super hyped! I love Asian corn soup, unfortunately it was luke warm and too gooey I believe there was too much corn starch added in it.
Service. I sat down and the waiter was friendly (probably the only good part of service). I had to ask for the lunch special menu, maybe because I came late they didn't have it on the table. Then I went to order and looked around the room my waiter was busy and there was a waitress available. We made eye contact then went on her phone... I also had to ask from some condiments, like vinegar. It goes great with fried foods! My waiter pretty much never checked on me until I asked. I had to ask him to come over 4 times. 1 for lunch special 2 to order 3 to get vinegar 4 for the check.
If you're in China town there's plenty other spots to check out
