  • The first time I came here, I wasn't terribly hungry actually and ended up just ordering a platter of chicken tikka which came sizzling to the table. It was white meat which I prefer, many Indian restaurants put the word boneless on the menu which leads me to believe chicken breast but it is usually dark meat, off the bone. The Dhaba didn't do that and actually did white meat for chicken tikka which is authentic. The chicken was juicy but needed more flavor. The second time I came here we ordered the chicken achari, malai kofta and garlic naan. The achari was tasty, but I wish the spices were not so coarse, still not bad! The koftas in the malai kofta were good but the gravy had too much jeera (cumin) for me personally, although my fiance liked it. The naan could have been fresher. The third time we ordered their tandoori sampler platter and it was ok, the chicken tikka was my favorite, my fiancĂ© liked the murgh seekh kebabs but the tandoori chicken and tandoori prawns weren't very flavorful and needed more spice. The staff aren't terribly friendly either, and the prices are a little high for the food.
