  • My friends and I came here for dinner, and we were shocked to have gotten a table for 6 instantly at 7:30 on a Saturday. The atmosphere: Chill. The chalkboard with all the different beers they had is cool. The crowd seemed older (at that time) and was just hanging out. Our waiter, however, seemed kind of all over the place. We didn't see him much after our food order was taken; we had to wave him down because we didn't get two items and the table was more than halfway done with the food. He said later on that the kitchen or runner staff was new?? So I'm not sure who's "fault" it was. He tried to fix it by comping the app and giving a 50% discount on the entree. I guess at that point, what else could he do? The food: it was ok. The burger wasn't anything special. My fish tacos were good, and I was thought the portion (2 pieces of fish per taco) was a generous ratio. But I didn't care for the fries, which appeared to be poutine - good thing they were free right, ha! The fries tasted kinda burnt, overdone...and that ruined it for me. The beer: good things throughout the table. Overall, maybe a place for beer and not a meal.
