  • I came in for a visit mainly because I had a sore throat. The technician took my vitals and was polite as I explained the reason for my visit. The P.A. that attended to me had no idea what was going on. She walked in the door to the exam room and stated that my strep test was negative - a test that was never administered. At first I thought maybe it was a visual check, but she hadn't even looked in my throat yet. So I called later to confirm - sure enough, no strep test was taken. At least I wasn't charged. I was pretty furious, as my entire visit was to make sure I had nothing contagious so I could resume working. The receptionist I spoke with about this problem offered a sincere 'sorry', but that doesn't fix my waste of time and money!
