I originally posted a 2 star review in response to the Colony Cafe's failure to issue me a refund for reservations made and cancelled well in advance. I received a response to my review here on Yelp, stating that my lack of refund was the result of an oversight. I appreciate that Colony Cafe responded to my review my refunding my $. I am less appreciative of the "this could have been resolved if you had reached out to us directly" bit in their response, and the rather obvious fact that they never caught it themselves. So-- they're trying, that much is clear, and I respect that, even if they seem to have some kinks to work out yet.
