I use to own a rental property that Hope Street managed and I was totally dissatisfied with the service they provided. I had to call EVERY month to get them to deposit the rent into my account. Seriously, every month!
The last renter we had in there had a problem with the plumbing in one of the bathrooms and when Hope Street went to check it out they said it was something that the strata should be paying for. Then the strata said it was my responsibility.... And back and forth and back and forth. On several occasions I told them if its my issue to fix it but instead they did nothing. In the end I had to pay for another inspection and arrange for the repair myself. Uhhh...... isn't that why we pay a management company?
After that got resolved the tenant was frustrated at how long it took and so he stopped paying the rent, which of course I had no idea about until I called to find out where my money was. It took months to get the tenant out and surprise, he trashed the condo. All in all it was not a good experience and I felt that a lot of it could have been avoided if Hope Street had MANAGED my property instead of collecting 10% and doing nothing.
My advice is look elsewhere.
