I find it amusing that they call this an inn. To me 'inn' conjures up images of a small place that had no room for Mary and Joseph. The Delta Chelsea is massive. The lobby is so freaking busy it feels like Vegas.
Anyway, I got a $99 rate through travelzoo and the location was central so I went for it. I took a shuttle bus from the airport for $22 and it stops right there. Once the very confused tour group party ahead of me got booked in I was checked in by a very sweet front desk agent.
On my way to my room I noticed buckling hallway carpets with areas that were duct taped à la Red Green. I became wary. When I walked into my room though I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little stuffy but had a big balcony so I was able to air it out. The bed was a comfy king and the room was simple but in decent shape. I still don't understand why hotels make you pay for internet but can't even offer wireless but at least the desk was beside the bed so I could get comfy while I yelped. :)
They have a few restaurants in there. One is cafeteria style which was handy when I just needed a bun and some cheese to keep me going between work and going out later.
This place could use a facelift but for the price it was definitely A-OK.
