Went to Branca last night with a friend, was there on her recommendation never heard of the place before but she said the reviews were good. Menu was very promising, atmosphere on the intimate side and service was friendly and helpful.
Sides were great, burnt carrots and shoestring fries with some amazing dips. They also had a crab sandwich starter which was pretty good.
The disappointment came with the mains. We got the beef ribs which were bland and somewhat dry, we also got the lamb shank which had a nice sauce but the lamb was dry and boring. Would have been a decent meal if not for the price point.
Try once if you have cash to burn.
