  • let me start off by saying the food is pretty darn tasty. but it doesn't make up for the crappy service. so today was my 4th visit here and i can confidently say that the service is always slow. you may get seated right away and may have your order put it promptly.. but after that it seems like they forget about you. the pook and i came here for breakfast this morning. i can safely say that our food took at least 30 minutes to get to us.. and when you ask about it.. i would hope that the server would actually check the kitchen before replying that it's almost done. i ordered the sage fried chicken benedict and the pook had the cinnamon banana flapjack. a server came over with a plate with eggs and ham and possibly bacon and was ready to put it on our table. but neither of us had ordered that dish so i let her know that we did not order that dish. she continued to repeat the other and told us yes we did order this. another server came by and said "no.. that's for table 12.. you need to get your table numbers in order" and then the server with that plate rolled her eyes without even trying to hide her frustration. umm... no sorry for telling me instead of asking me what i ordered? and it wasn't even our fault? she walked by a moment later and i politely smiled and i didnt get one ounce of friendly from her.. i was so bothered... our food came out and it was soooo good. but i dont think this will be my first choice when im in town anymore. they were out of the watermelon kiwi lemonade and the cheesecake latte which was on the specials menu.... then i had to ask 3 different times for syrup to go. the table behind us had such horrible service they complained to the manager. it wasnt that bad in our case but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. :(
