An awesome jewel of a museum! Usually "you get what you pay for" is pretty accurate, but the museum's free entrance fee is no indicator of the quality that awaits inside.
The museum is actually two buildings connected by an enclosed sunlit atrium. On one side is a wonderful cafe with moderately priced, but delicious food. It is big enough to take at least an entire day and focusing on a few collections/wings makes for a good morning or afternoon.
They have a companion app that gives you additional information about certain pieces in their collections. However, I found that it crashed quite a bit - at least on my new Android phone.
