| - I gotta start saying Dr. Tabassi is nice, and answered all our questions, but unfortunately she doesn't care for her patients time. I went only twice here.
First time, had to wait 2 hours literally from checking until she actually attended us. I was pregnant at the time and starving. I went to the bathroom while waiting in the room and I saw her in her office talking over the phone, ok she might be busy. Then after 45min I had to go out of the room and asked how much longer and she was hanging out with her staff, she said to me I'll be there in a minute and she took another 15min before getting into the room. All that time, we could hear her laughing and chatting with her staff. My husband was so mad. At the end of our consultation they shoot us with the maternity price and payments, which was only 20% since my insurance coverage was 80%. At the moment we were ok altho after revised it, I noticed the amount correspond to the 50%.
Before our second visit they rescheduled me twice, and once there, they made me wait 45 min before requesting my first maternity payment and right after I paid, no kidding, the receptionist asked me If I would like to reschedule because they were too busy, Dr. Tabassi had to leave and they only have her assistance at the time. At this point I saw 2 people leaving upset because the same reasons. So we decided that we couldn't do this every visit and we'll have to change doctors. So I requested a refund of the first payment, the one she just charged a min ago, She said she couldn't do that, that and I had to call their payment department, What? You can't cancel the transaction? I mean I'm sure it hasn't even go through yet, it should be pending. She once again refused to cancel the payment, arguing she wasn't able to do so. So I told her I'll call the bank right now and dispute it my self since no service was provided, or ever will. Then the manager approached and asked if she could help us, we explained the situation, she apologized, and tried to convinced us of staying with them, which we refused. Then she told the receptionist to cancel the payment, and by clicking a button the receptionist cancel the payment. YES, they were just trying to force us to stay with them.
They're a very dishonest and disorganized practice, they only care about your money. And now that I delivered my baby with another amazing Dr. , who never asked me payments in advanced, I also found out how much higher Dr. Tabassi prices were. Ridiculous! I don't recommend this practice.
