Contrary to the stock photo they use for their groupon, nothing here looked appetizing, and nothing here tasted appetizing.
I wish I had a crystal ball to know for certain, but the ribs and brisket I got looked to be recently heated up and/or packaged at some point. The brisket had a oozing puddle of that red-orange grease you may see when you reheat fatty or greasy pieces of meat, like next day breakfast sausage and/or bacon.
The ribs were so dark and over charred. As stated earlier they too looked like a old batch from the previous day. They weren't tender by a long shot.
The only comment of flavor I can give towards them was that neither had flavor and both had to be drowned in BBQ sauce. The overly sweet sauce that could have easily been out the bottle with a couple extra seasonings mixed in.
The mac and cheese and cole-slaw I got as my sides were so generic and unremarkable. It was recommended by my server to get their peach cobbler to round out my groupon. Straight out the can peaches with too much cinnamon. At least I could tell the crust used was home made. Dry, non flaky or buttery crust, but homemade.
This place gets the prize for my worst groupon purchase to date. I wouldn't recommended or come back to this place, even with another groupon.
