  • Dave's is a small, neighborhood market. The selection of foods isn't the greatest, the prices are a little higher, and it's quite cramped. But the employees are super friendly, they carry some unique items (yay, bottled Arabica mocha!!) and they always have what I need. This feels like the neighborhood markets I used to shop in when I was a kid, before corporations took over. I will drive past Whole Foods, Heinen's and Giant Eagle just to shop at Dave's. Fortunately, I don't have to because it's right around the corner from me, but I would. Dave's is a part of the neighborhood and it's worth the higher prices and pain in the ass parking lot.
