  • I hate this place so much. I'm not sure why I went back so many times. They do make excellent hot chocolate while you wait; I will say that. I don't want to go for maintenance where the staff there so CLEARLY work on commission. I have never gone in for an oil change and had them not recommend at least 3 other things. And each time when I tell them "Thanks but not today" I check with my mechanic the next time I am there who tells me I don't need any of that. And even if I did, the price they quoted me is as much as double what it should be. Mr.Lube is a chain and because of that people trust it. It preys on people's ignorance of cars and so they will charge you exorbitant prices for things you didn't even need in the first place. And even in the best case scenario where they don't try to sell you 100 things (and they will), you just get a needlessly expensive oil change. Now that I've found a place close by that can do quick oil change and make recommendations but ones you can trust because they are not on commission, I would never ever go back here.
