  • Well, I honestly wish I knew what was wrong with CS these days. It just seems bad everywhere. My wife and daughter attempted to eat here this morning before work. We walked in and waited to be seated. Mind you, the place was barely a quarter full. So it's not like employees were running around like the place was at capacity. It didn't take too long to get greater but it wasn't as fast as it normally takes when I frequent other restaurants. The gentleman was engaging and pleasant though, so no big deal I thought. We were seated in plain view. It's not like they hid is away in the corner. A couple of minutes go by and no one comes to bring water and ask what we wanted to drink. Meanwhile I see a waitress milling about by the kitchen and another girl cleaning up in the bar style seating area. Another couple of minutes goes by and my wife sees the waitress great and start to take the drink orders of three women who were seated after us. Well, we didn't have time due to work so we got up and left. As we left I mentioned they needed to work on their CS. The waitress looked at me with this "duuuuhhh, huh?" Look. Total deer in headlights. I'm dumbfounded. This seems like it's more and more common. Don't these people understand cleaning and rearranging and that stuff comes second to customers who are waiting? You're there because if the customer, period. That's where the money comes from. Nothing pisses me off more when I see employees rushing around cleaning up and doing their closing routine to "get out on time" when customers are there waiting on them. I mean, even if there was a mix up no one noticed we were sitting there with no drinks. Isn't that a hint we haven't been heated by a server and to find out why? I guess not. What do I know lol. Anyway, I use to think the long lines on the weekends was due to great food. Now I'm guessing it's due to the lax attitude of the wait staff. I'll wait for good food. That's ok. I won't wait because employees think milling around and piddling around with nonsense is more important than serving people. Seems like the norm nowadays.
