| - I went here for the first time two nights ago, for my birthday. Right off the bat, I was entranced by the atmosphere, even though it's a little small. It has a wonderful feeling of being in an upscale lounge/bar. There was a live pianist playing wonderful music. The hostess that night was extremely rude to me. I get that it was a fancy place, and I was in a dress, so it wasn't like I looked like some riffraff trying to start trouble. I told her my reservation name and she looked me up and down with an irritated look on her face, then answered the phone and talked for a bit, ignoring me. When she was done, she told me to follow her and sat me. That was the only negative thing about the place. I really hope someone speaks to her about her attitude towards customers, as she is the only reason this place didn't get 5 stars from me.
The food, however, was out of this world. Quite expensive, but worth every penny. I had the crawfish etouffee and devoured it, it was so amazing. The bread before dinner was fresh and delicious. The side salad that came with the meal was just a normal salad, nothing outstanding about it, but the dressing was really good. Lastly, I ordered the peanut butter pie for dessert, which was a fantastic end to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend eating here!
