We had high expectations of this restaurant. CraftSteak is located inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It has a great reputation for a steakhouse in Las Vegas. The dishes are presented very well in a skillet and the presentation brings immediate delight to the visual senses.
Maybe it's us or maybe it's not but the steaks, Filet Mignon & Bone-in Rib Eye did not taste anything special. The meats were tough to bite into and the expectations of it melting in our mouth led to a disappointment. The steaks were too dry in my opinion.
The side dishes, on the other hand, were great. The Brussels Sprouts and Potatoes were so good that we finished eating them before we finished the steaks.
I think the restaurant may need a renovation project to bring its ambiance back to modern steakhouses in the area. The service was slow however I must mention that the restaurant was busy.
