| - Wow! Wow! Wow!
The Mr. grew up in a very Polish town in central New Jersey, and the Mrs. had a Polish aunt (Uncle's wife). Polish food was a great part of our young years in NJ. So when the Mr. took the Mrs. to Date Night at the local Polish restaurant, we had high expectations. This was our first visit.
Taste of Europe fully met and exceeded our expectations! This family-operated family-friendly place offers authentic, delicious home-cooking.
We both relished the pate, pickle, and bread appetizer. The Mrs. loooooved the potato cheddar pierogies, stuffed cabbage, and grilled kielbasa. The Mr. really enjoyed the pork cutlet and the mushroom-stuffed potato pancakes. We ended with the apricot crepes. Excellent dinner!
Service was good, and the female owner was attentive.
Mr. and Mrs. intend to add Taste of Europe to their list of favored eating places, out and about Charlotte.
The Mrs. later recommended Taste of Europe to a colleague of Polish descent (originally from Buffalo), who took her Polish-born-and-raised grandmother there. They raved about the food, too.
We recommend this restaurant.
