  • Went to the Cave Creek Balloon Festival last night (2018) for the first time and found it very disappointing. We bought the VIP tickets and were hoping for a grand time. Not. the food was just mediocre with the best thing being the salad. No shade to be found and the balloon fest did not happen because they stated it was too windy. They should have offered a return ticket to see the balloon fest - to reimburse the people who paid to see the balloons instead they did not. I will not recommend this to anyone. Poor management and I know they cannot control the wind but they were paid a lot for a no show. They should have reimbursed people. Never again.
