Had a little breaky here once up on a time. Just a light thing before a winterlicious lunch but it was satisfying.
The décor is great. What they lack in square footage, they make up for in height! And they really use it with some modern art that snakes its way all up a three story wall. Just a few tables, a small counter with barstools is all that's needed. With some crazy acoustics it might sound like there are tons of people there but the traffic is pretty slow and small.
The almond croissant was not mind-blowing, a bit too crusty-crunchy for my liking but still good. The liked the top of crunchy, sliced almonds the best and it was a nice touch that there was some EXTRA butter on the inside.
Also had the cappuccino, very delicious (though I know nothing about coffee) and came in a cute, colourful cup and saucer. They'll bring the bill to the table but I went up to pay. The service was good but not memorable. I'd come again if I'm in the area- a nice alternative to Starbucks.
