  • I've wanted to try Filipino food for a while, and I was always told to either go to Kanto or Lamesa. As I didn't have enough time to sit down and eat, I opted for Kanto. When I got to the stall in Market 707, I was surprised they didn't have many of the things I was going to order, such as Lechon Kawali and Ube Rice Cakes. I did end up trying the Calamansi Iced Tea. This to me tasted like a stronger version of Nestea with a slight lime aftertaste. I ended up drinking the whole thing within a couple of minutes. If the rest of their dishes tasted as good as that iced tea, then I will definitely be coming back. Let's just hope that many things aren't sold out by then.
