| - I need to come back to try their burgers and possibly other items, however, this review is based on their "Our Famous Fries" only.
I remembered their fries were really great from the YEE event, so when my friend wanted a snack (preferably fries), this was the first thing that popped into my mind.
You order at the counter and if you're dining in, you're given a numbered watering can with fry sauce, utensils, and napkins. Then, you choose a table in the dining room. There's also a sauce station where you can grab ketchup, mustard, etc.
The service and vibe of the place was wonky. There were only five other patrons at our arrival and it didn't feel welcoming. The person who took our order seemed to have difficulty and he was barely paying attention since a couple other employees were speaking to him at the same time. Although we only ordered fries, my friend had to repeat the order three times and she read it exactly as the menu listed it: Our Famous Fries. After our fries arrived, we requested a dish to put the fry sauce in and he was confused. Then, we saw him ask the kitchen staff and brought a large bowl to the table (the same one the fries arrived in). I'm not sure if that's typical, but it was an awkward situation for sauce and dipping fries. We were assisted by another person with fry delivery and water refills, and fortunately, he was very pleasant and helpful.
Anyway, the fries were even better than I remember. They have everything you want in a fry. Light, crispy exterior and tender interior. Very lovely. The fry sauce, although not as amazing as I recalled, was still a delicious companion. Those fries are enough to want to return again and again (and I will!).
