  • We had an emergency with one of our kitties and googled the closest animal hospital to take her. Fortunately Bluepearl was the first place to pop up so we called to be sure we could bring her over. Just by speaking to the staff on the phone I felt better knowing our kitty would get the treatment she needed. We walked in and the staff immediately took Alley Cat back to access her tail while we filled out paperwork. The entire staff was so welcoming and took the time to explain our options confirming we understood everything. Alley needed stiches so we were there for a little bit. Every person that walked in with their fur baby was treated the same way we were. It was an amazing staff and I was truly impressed. Check out was easy, they sent us home with medication and instructions for the next 10 to 14 days. What we did not know was even though Alley was sedated as soon as we got her out of the carrier at home she totally freaked out pulling the collar off and biting into the stiches in her tail. It was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. So back to the hospital with a traumatized cat and 2 traumatized daughters. Lets be honest there were tears and lots of them. As we walked in the staff immediately took Alley back to see what damage was caused. The staff took care of her then took the time to show me how to put the collar on like a harness vs just around her neck. They also explained to keep her in the carrier for a few hours until she got used to the collar. The girl helping us could tell we were all pretty freaked out. She took the time to tell us how her cat went thru a similar situation and that Alleys reaction was normal but she would get used to the collar. I never felt rushed, I never felt like an interruption. We felt welcomed, cared for and left the hospital fully equipped with what we had in store for the coming 2 weeks. I can not say enough about the entire staff. They were amazing. In all of the chaos I never got the name of the girl who helped me at the front desk but she was my angel that night. Trying to keep my kids calm while they were sobbing, get my kitty fixed and not losing it myself would not have been possible without her. I would HIGHLY recommend Bluepearl to anyone who needs emergency treatment for their pets. Thank you Bluepearl for being there when we needed you!!!!! I hope I never have to come back but its good to know if I do a place like this is there.
