  • So what can I say it's the Halal guys the food of course was delicious as always and the quality was definitely on point. I was kind of worried about taking my husband there because he had never tried it and I wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype. It's in the heart of downtown so that's really nice we did have some trouble finding parking but that's typical of anything in downtown. Once we got there thankfully there was not much of a line and we were able to order but it was really really hot inside the restaurant and they actually had one of those humongous commercial fans blowing towards everyone. We got our food and even ordered some falafel. We were able to get a table easily and sat down to eat. Since they are cooking the food right then and there behind the line where you order it just gets really incredibly hot and extremely noisy especially when they're chopping up the chicken all you hear is really loud middle bringing together which is what we heard for about 20 minutes or so. We got lucky because as soon as we sat down and started eating the line got really long and went out the door but they were serving people pretty quickly. Everybody was in search of a table though so it became a little bit rushed and then of course it was really hot in there so I just felt like there was too much going on. A homeless guy came in and literally went through the entire restaurant asking people for money but not one person noticed he even asked people in the line where people were ordering the food and again not one employee noticed or asked him to leave. This was quite bizarre because he's literally asking one person away from the cashier and every other person in line as they order food but they really had no clue or care as to what was going on inside the restaurant! Again the food was good but I would say the falafel was the biggest hit of the night which I'm really glad my husband ordered. I still don't think that "fast food" for two people that are eating two small entrĂ©es plus a drink and falafel should cost 30 bucks though!
