1 star for the fact I liked the car we got, it was fantastic on gas. We got to Vegas from Phoenix on a tank of gas with some leftover.
We arrived in Phoenix on a Tuesday around noon. The line to get the car upstairs for the paperwork was ridiculous so I expected somewhat of a wait. An hour and 15 minutes later, we get our paperwork and head downstairs. We are told the car would be valet and didn't have to go to the desk.
30 minutes go by, no car. I ask the man at the counter (mind you he's the only one at the counter and there's a whole slew of people waiting on cars) and he pages it and says the car will be up soon. Another 15 go by, I ask again when he proceeds to tell me "they don't have that car". Um what? And then asks if we are okay with another car. Well obviously if you do not have the car we've been waiting for, we need another car. So he gives us keys to a "2014" Impala. This car was a BOAT. I said "2014" because when you got into the car, the interior and dash was the same as my 2003 Chevy blazer. I googled a 2014 Impala and it definitely wasn't a 2014. I asked for a small car for a reason. I'm driving from Phoenix to Vegas, I don't want a gas guzzling boat. I go back up to the counter and politely tell him I would like another car and he looks in his computer and goes "oh we have he car you originally were supposed to have". At the point, I'm just annoyed because now this whole thing from starting paperwork I've waited over two hours. So we get the keys finally and write down the damage on the car (scratches, chips in the windshield and a big scratch/mess on the front bumper with paint chipped).
Returning the car was less of a hassle but I did notice again a lot of agitated people and people running around like mad people.
While this place was much cheaper than other companies, I wouldn't use them again. You get what you pay for. I understand they were busy but there needs to be some organization and routine for when that happens. It was such a mess. Every customer was agitated and waited just as long as we did. Other companies were just as busy and things seemed to moving much smoother and quicker.
