My wife surprised me with a night here, and I will say that the rooms are well worth the money. Very nicely done. Tastefully decorated and more than enough space.
And then, there's the rest of the experience. I hate feeling like I've got to hold onto my wallet the entire time, and that's the vibe at Talking Stick. It seems like their only goal is to suck as much money out of you as humanly possible. If they could get away with having a pay-per-flush toilet in your room, they would install them this afternoon.
C'mon, people. We go to casinos to have a good time. For me, that means the staff should smile once in a while - and mean it. I want to feel like you appreciate my business, not like you can't wait for me to drop a bunch of cash and leave.
Meh. I may go back, I may not. I'd recommend the rooms to someone, but I'd definitely warn them about my experience.
