  • Cute little coffee house, right by the capitol. It has 2 entrances, one by a room filled with tables and people working- the other by the coffee bar. Nice atmosphere, they left it feeling older and not completely rehabbed. What a nice change from what I am used to in Chicago! I seem to be on a quest for iced mocha's lately, and Michelangelo's did not disappoint me. Their drink was sweeter than most, but had a good flavor. They offered me whipped cream on top. That kind of threw me. I wanted a cold coffee, not an ice cream drink.. but, to each their own. They had a very nice looking selection of desserts and pastries, but, alas, none for me! They are open later, and open by 7 am. A quick stop on the way to a meeting is planned tomorrow AM.
