  • Humber Bay Park is a nice park about 2 km west of the Gardiner/Lakeshore Drive split (near the white bridge). Follow the twists of Lakeshore Drive west. The park is just past Park Lawn on your left. Here are a few points. 1. Parking costs 75 cents per half hour after 5 pm, but is free otherwise. Late afternoon is a prime time for diving and late afternoon jogging. Otherwise parking is free. 2. This park is much less crowded than the heart of Lakeshore. It also has fewer amenities, but the skyline views are breathtaking. 3. This is a great place to jog, walk, read a book, or stroll on the beach. It has a much more leisurely feel than the more major parks. 4. The park beaches are a bit nicer than others in town, but there tends to be some litter on them. If you go, take your trash (and maybe a little extra) with you. 5. There are ducks and other birds here, but I have not encountered the large flocks of Canadian geese (and their poo) here as much.
