| - Took my kitty here last night for some concerns with her having accidents / gaining weight. Our appointment was for 6:10, and we got there early (5:45) just in case there was lengthy paperwork as it was our first visit.
The medical staff person in the front greeted us, and asked if we had records for my cat. We did and she completed all the forms for us, which was nice!
The waiting room has all the amenities you want: unisex bathroom, pet products and pet food for sale, a kiddie corner with crayons and coloring books, comfortable 'restaurant booth-like' seating, free treats for your pet while they're waiting, and complimentary coffee/hot chocolate/hot tea/water! There are also several brochures/magazines for reading!
A wonderful touch was the LED-candle with a sign that says "when this candle is on, somebody is saying goodbye to their beloved pet. Please be respectful." It really touched me that they would go that extra mile to make that person feel that they were there to comfort them and to make sure others did not tarnish their last memories of their pet. Unfortunately, the candle was on, meaning someone was saying goodbye to their dog, and was having a hard time, so they were devoting extra staff to this, making our wait very, very long.
We finally got seen at around 6:45, and from that moment on we were treated amazing from the staff. They repeatedly apologized for the long wait, were extremely patient with my frustrated and stressed kitty, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. They took extra special care of her and even sent us home with a welcome goodie bag for her! We were very impressed.
Another AWESOME deal is you get your first check-up free, as long as you print the coupon they send you, a savings of $50! I think this is a wonderful way to try to obtain new customers- it worked and I will absolutely be back!
I knocked off a star because even though we were treated extraordinarily well, we did have to wait a long time, which wasn't completely their fault, and I will update the review if my waiting time goes better in the future.
Oh and by the way, my kitty turned out to be fine :)
