  • Every time I walk into this dollar store, I spend more than I planned. Maybe it's the idea that everything is less than $2, that I think buying more still saves me money. Or maybe it's that they are stocked with really decent items. I've bought sleep masks with cute sayings ("10 more minutes"), endless tiny bottles of mouthwash, various art supplies (glitterati!) and shower caps. It's only downfall? There are ALWAYS line-ups. I've been during my lunch hour and in the evening; it's always been between a 15-25 minute wait in line. I guess it's the price I have to pay...besides the obscene total I always accumulate.
