  • Although I will always be an Ohio State Buckeye, I am part Badger too, as I went to law school at UW. And while most of my time here was spent unfortunately locked up in the library, I did get a chance to really enjoy the Memorial Union over those years. Truly nothing like it! I recently went back last month with my husband and a few friends, and I was reminded of how terrific this campus is! Colorful signature patio furniture overlooks Lake Mendota. Beer, live music, ice cream, sail boats, and all things Wisconsin (brats & cheese curds included). Suthbathers, students, young families, tourists, you name it! It really is such a happy place. Inside you will find tons of cool murals, gift shops, delicious restaurants, and study spaces. Madison is tiny but there's a lot to see. Start with the Capitol Building, Camp Randall, State Street and end here. Cheers!
