Two years ago, this was one of my favorite steakhouses off the Strip. After dining there this New Years Eve, I can say I'll never return. Positives first...great chopped salad & very good filet. The scallops were the worst I've ever had. Rubbery is the only word that describes them. The Austin's Potatoes were supposed to be topped with carmelized onions. What we got were undercooked (some actually crunchy) potatoes with regular diced barely cooked onions on top...not even close to carmelized. The creamed spinach came out the consistency of soup. You needed a spoon to eat it, and it just tasted like a pool of butter.
The servers there used to be fun and vivacious. Ours had the personality of a doorknob.
If you want an off Strip steakhouse at a Station Casino, The Charcoal Room is far better. Too bad so many restaurants around here lack consistency!
