  • It's March 28, 2014. I've been coming here since August 2012. Overall, my experience has been pretty good. Namely, Daryl and Ash have been great - patient, attentive, and confident in how they deliver the needles. Depending on my schedule, I've also tried other acupuncturists as well. I've never had any acupuncturist that wasn't good, here. Their prices are the best in Toronto, and I've been repeatedly recommending their service to people who seem open to trying acupuncture. John is particularly gentle with the insertion of the thin acupuncture needles; Jeff is really affable, personable. The space is clean, and if you choose a quiet time to arrive for your treatment, you can enjoy the feeling of safely 'letting go' (of any worries, etc...). It's priceless to have the opportunity to have this kind of "me" time. Does it work? My mother and husband, aren't into acupuncture. They haven't tried going to TAS per se, mind you, but still, if one isn't open into going, then I respect their decision. For me, however, I experienced first hand some pain leaving a thigh of mine, at a Health Show where acupuncture was offered. It worked after that one time, and that was good enough for me. Another time, as a new mom, I had (TMI?) blocked milk ducts. If I had left them, I would have risked getting mastitis or some other related infection. After a few treatments with Ash, the issue went away. Finally, I went to acupuncture to keep up levels of general well-being. Parking is free on Sundays, at certain areas of College street. Besides getting there any day by car, the TTC is convenient: a College streetcar or Dufferin bus will drop you off very nearby. A bicycle will also get you there, but parking it can be tricky (but not impossible). Absolutely worth trying.
