  • Alright Alright Alright! First thing this birthday morning, decided to make my way to this quasi farmers market I'd heard so much about. I'd never been in a Sprouts. Let's get the unpleasantness out the way; the location is bizarre. Out of the way, set back beyond woods, completely hidden from the main road and even the side road you turn on to get there. I imagine there was considerable forward-thinking involved in it's placement, as there does seem to be other developments happening in the area, but still. A well-deserved deduction of a star. Otherwise, it is indeed the discreet love child of Whole Foods & Trader Joes. Vibrant fresh produce, ample assortment of bulk food items, attractive baked goods, all at great pricing. I enjoyed a vegan superfruit muffin and coconut-pineapple drink before I left. The muffin was sweet, moist, wholesome berry goodness. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I spoke with the produce manager and marveled at how smooth and healthy the sweet potatoes were, purchasing a bounty's worth. It would be nice if they offered hot food items, as that would put better use to their petite dining area. I totally understand the lively fan base for Sprouts. Exited happy, with a cart full of glorious goodness. It's a bit of a trek to get to, so will likely just be an occasional jaunt.
