We ordered a brisket dinner and a "jumbo" brisket sandwich as take out from here so I can only comment on these two dishes and not on their service. The brisket slices are chewy and have actual grill marks on the flat sides, which tells me that it didn't spend much time in a smoker for the fat to render and was probably cooked/reheated on a grill and then covered in sauce. I think that violates more than a few BBQ rules around prep and flavor.....The "jumbo" brisket sandwich we ordered is nothing more than three slices of brisket between some buttered toast with some slaw throw on for some odd reason. Not how I would prepare or present a "jumbo" sandwich. Also, the collard greens were downright bad. I know that brisket is not really a strong point of Carolina BBQ, so I might give this place another chance to try the pork. Otherwise I'll probably look elsewhere for BBQ.
