  • At about 1:45 PM, leaving my parking space with a trunk full of groceries at the COSTCO 791 Marks St, Henderson and having driven a few yards towards the exit lane, the kind elderly gentleman, who was waiting for my space shouted "Flat Tire"! With disbelief I turned on the emergency flashers and pulled over to inspect and stood aghast at first at the sight of what appeared to be a #11 roofing nail driven into the right rear tire thread. Incredibly lucky I thought; there were still two inches of air remaining. I should be able to move the car. I slowly headed through the mall road towards the gas station at the north-west corner of Sunset Rd and Marks, my mind raced to figure out where in the four places I have been since morning that I got the nail ... at church this morning? ... at the DMV parking lot around noon? ... at the Costco Gas pump? ... at the Costco Parking lot?... With groceries in the back, I was lucky to buy the last can of the 16 oz RACE PRO stop leak tire inflator for about $10 at the Chevron Station and inflate my tire, I planned to get an extra can on my way home from the next AutoZone. (DON'T GO TO THE FIRESTONE TIRE a few yards west with the sign that reads "FREE FLAT TIRE REPAIR". Read my review published earlier)... I decided to spend an extra $10 for an extra can of fix a flat, take the groceries home and do my shopping there. I quickly passed and missed an AutoZone but continued on, remembering that another AutoZone at Horizon Ridge Pkwy, Henderson. Seeing the Tire Works sign while at the cross street approaching the strip mall entrance, I decided to go to Tire Works that showed the Yokohama tire advertised. Tire Works Total Car Care. 2220 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052 Isaac with a large "Sanctificado" tattoo on his left arm said they can repair the tire for $20 but can only accept cash as their credit card machine was out of order. He asked for the keys and said that his dad would take the car in the shop. No choice, I reluctantly gave him the car keys with my grocery and other personal belongings inside. I walked in the shop and the gentleman working on the tire showed me the roof nail plus another LARGER metal screw lodged in another part of the tire thread. I guess, it will cost me another $20. The wait didn't seem to take too long as there was a TV plus, I was busy playing the King Games Jelly Saga apps. I had just passed the difficult level 50 when Isaac called to say the car was ready. I was so happy when Issac only charged me $20 for the two objects that punctured the tire, so I gave him an extra tip, seeing they were not busy at all. My gratitude again to my Guardian Angel for leading me to Isaac with the (Holy "Sanctificado" tattoo), his dad and to my new Tire Store.
