As a new resident of the area I am looking for the best places for everything I need. Car stuff, restaurants, and a good running equipment store. I saw some reviews on yelp about Cadence Running Company so I thought I would give them a shot. I know WAAAAAAAAY too much about shoes as I sold them in my old hometown for well over five years (both casual, dress, and athletic shoes) but I didn't tell them that. I kind of wanted to test them to see if they really knew what they were talking about. The steps they use in their sales process are perfect. They watch you walk AND run and they understand gait cycle. I was trying to stay open and listen to everything they said and my sales gal was perfect. I also asked about energy and nutrition for my running and they suggested I try UCAN. It's a nice product that after a few uses I can say that everything I was told was correct. The staff made no outlandish claims about the amount of energy it would provide but it is just right. 100% accurate. I will be going back to buy my next set of shoes from Cadence Running Company. Great group of folks who sell the stuff because they love it and they are actually runners. I'm not saying that as a diss against other companies in town (other than Dicks and Sports Authority) as I'm sure there are others that are great. This is the real deal though, you won't buy something you don't need.
