What we had: original cheesecake
Taste: 8/10
Yummy, light, and cheesy. IMO it tastes very similar to Uncle Tetsu's, but maybe sweeter? The consistency of the cake doesn't seem to be as light as Uncle Tetsu. Like Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake, this is better eaten fresh/hot than cold. This place also offers chocolate and coffee flavoured cheesecake so we will try that next.
Value: 8/10
An entire cheesecake is $11.30 after tax for the original flavour, though they are quite light and small so you can totally demolish one in a few minutes. It's $1.30 more than Uncle Tetsu and the cake seems to be smaller than Uncle Tetsu's, but you don't have to wait to buy a cake.
Service/Convenience: 10/10
You are greeted the instant you walk in, and the cashier is super nice. They offer free samples of the cake which is nice. Best of all, there's no wait! And there's no purchase limit.
Would go back? Yes, to try the other flavours. This might become my go-to Japanese cheesecake place.
Would recommend to friend? Yes
