  • Gotta give mad props to Skye. She works miracles. She's been my friend's stylist for YEARS, and it's hard for people to really find their go-to person. So if my friend (who BTW has fabulous hair) recommends her and goes to her for years, then it's got to be worth a shot. Because my mom let me inherit her great hair genes, my hair requires little to no maintenance. However, I am seriously kidding myself if I really think my hair is really my superpower. It had probably been over 6 months since I last cut my hair (or even combed it). Anyway, I came into the salon with my straight-out-of-the-amazon-jungle hair, and asked Skye to turn my hair to a full JLO blowout. Sure enough, a good shampoo, fun conversation and a few inches off later, I walked out of that salon and the wind blew past me (no for real. it was a windy day so it really did) like I was Beyonce.
