  • I work as a detention officer. We are required to sit on inmates that are in the hospital for treatment. The things I've seen here at mountain vista disgust me. Keep in mind I sit with these Inmates for 8 or 12 hour shifts I SEEEE EVERYTHING... The staff is horrible. They are rude, disrespectful and don't show any care for the patients or the detention staff protecting them. Always talking and chit chatting with other nurses and not working. The house cleaning staff is horrible, rooms are always gross and dirty. The restrooms always smell horrible on the 3rd floor. The doctors come and go within seconds. No personal attention shown. Almost like a production line. Next next next next. All about money. Personally I and my family members will never use this hospital. The only decent thing I can say about this hospital is the cafeteria grill. Pretty good bacon egg and cheese bagel. If you google this hospital you will find that my sayings are the same as many others. Read the reviews this place is by far the worst hospital I've worked in and I've worked in MANY hospitals throughout the valley. I personally recommend any BANNER hospitals. Always wonderful people and staff.
