Just Plumbing was the vendor selected by my home warranty company to repair my leaky toilet. The plumber said that it was probably just the wax ring. I explained to him that there was also a loose bolt at the base of the toilet so he said he would also check the flange. He replaced the wax ring, told me the flange was fine, and that the toilet was firmly attached to the floor. As soon as he left, I went to look at the work and found that the bolt was still loose, and the toilet was NOT firmly attached to the floor. I called his company, they said that I'd have to call First American (warranty company) to schedule a follow-up. First Am called the plumber, who said that I was missing a bolt and that he didn't replace the bolt because bolts are not covered under the warranty. So....
1. He straight up LIED to me when he said the toilet was firmly attached
2. He ALSO LIED to First American when he told them that I was missing the bolt.
3. His company is now giving me the run around about scheduling a follow-up to address this problem.
I doubt this horrible company gets any work outside of warranty contracts, but if your warranty company sets you up with this company for your repair, for your own good DEMAND a different vendor. If they are already in your house, doing the work, check it thoroughly before you let them leave!
