  • Nice alternative and natural escape from Hot and Hectic Las Vegas. The rangers at the state park station at the beginning were helpful and the shop had nice items. ... inexpensive silver jewelry. The trail was very scenic with lots of historic bits about the builders of the Hoover dam. Bring water because it's very hot. We were low on time and tired from the heat and made the good decision to Uber back to the park station from the Dam. The first Uber quote was $30 but we tried again and got a ride for $10.
