| - I personally love Yorkdale for many reasons except where its located. I think this mall needs to switch with Eatons, it seems like a better fit for that downtown location. Away from that, Yorkdale hours are 10am till 9pm Monday to Saturday and closes at 5 or 6pm Sunday. Lots of shopping and window browsing, yes the windows of each store are massive. There's so many varieties of high end and everything else ( Michael Kors, LV, Holts, MAC, Costa Blanca, GAP, Victoria Secret and LaSenza) Theres also a movie theatre, Cineplex inside near one of the entrances by Rainforest Cafe and Moxies. There's a food court upstairs and several restaurants around the mall as well so your not just left with greasy, limited options. The ceilings inside Yorkdale are so high up, it just looks and feels refreshing. You don't feel crowded and almost no ones B.O can get to you LOL
Also if you ask customer service kiosks, they have in-mall strollers and lockers for you to use and I almost forgot to add, near the subway train entrance, you have dental office, optical store and 2-3 salons, Forlinos is my new salon now, stylist Nadia is amazing with colour and cut. I travel all the way from the end of markham every month to see her. So while parents, friends etc are shopping, you can get your hair done or watch a movie.
P.s they have signs stating that 40 new stores will be opening this year
